How to build relationships

The most effective way to build relationships of any kind; business, family, or friends is to communicate. Some people simply don't have much time to do this. Having good intentions and performing are two different things.

Today we struggle to find time for anything extra because we can barely make it through the day as is. Sitting down after a long hard day, your brain starts rethinking the day in your head. Sorta like a checklist. Did I do everything I was suppose to? Sometimes you even go look at your calendar because you feel like you
missed something. I know the feeling because I've done it. Then you see it in black and white on your calendar. Your sister's birthday! I forgot it. You run to the phone and wish her a happy birthday then apologize why you didn't send a card or give her a gift. Explaining how hectic your life has been this month or so on.

After justifying to her you feel a little better but promise yourself not
to forget next year. That's ok. What happens when you forget a child's birthday. Their feeling are really hurt and its much harder to apologize to a child.

Anyway, the point is building relationships. To build a relationship, you must do heartfelt things for that person at some point. Its really hard to tell people whom
you care about face to face how special they are to you or how wonderful they make you feel. When someone does something nice, you should thank them. Calling and telling that person thank you is special, but taking the time to send a card is even more special. The words fade away on the phone, but a card stays with them; they can
refer back to that card anytime they want to feel special.

When a real estate agent sends a thank you for your referral card, you know he/she really does appreciate it because she took time out of his/her busy day to send me a card. It means so much more to people to receive a card. Those people who want to say something special can say it through a card because if they haven't said it by now, that's just their personality and probably won't say it, so that's when cards
are really helpful to those type personalities. The cards say it for you and it lasts forever. Believe me, it creates warm fuzzies when people get a card or even more so an unexpected card.

Who has time for that when we barely remember the special day anyway? That's why I'm writing this blog.

I found a cool website that allows you to choose a card for any occasion then click the submit button and it will print the card, stamp the card, and mail the card for
you. This website will actually allow you to write in the card using the font (and font color) of your choice and/or upload personal photos you can write onto as well.

It has a reminder system built it and will remind you of special dates 7 days in advance. It logs every card you've sent so you won't forget if you sent the card
or not. Sending a card a midnight takes about 5 min. or less. It also costs less than $1 plus .42 postage. WOW! This is the best relationship building site I've ever seen. Handwriting fonts are used so you can sign your name in your own handwriting. They have borders, thought bubbles, voice bubbles to use with all your photo
uploads.

See if you take time to send something in the mail, its just more special!!! Even if you don't think so; about 80% of the population does think so. You can improve relationships without talking with someone.

Think about when you old and at home thinking nobody ever calls me. Was I so busy that I ignored the most important people in my life that they have all forgotten me. Even then, its not too late to send everyone cards to reconnect. How about Christmas time, that's probably the only time you'll hear from them all year. Do you hang the cards on your door or display them in your house.....that's because you just love them. Getting the cards are fun. You can't wait to go to the mailbox to see who's card you'll get next. Giving them can be just as fun.

My mother asked me to start sending her cards out because she was having a hard time
writing. She is now 73yrs old and it just hurts her hand to write them out. Her eyes lit up when I told her about this service. Of course, she isn't on computers much, but I can help her by uploading her Christmas card list. It took me about 20 min. to organize her list getting ready for upload. It only took about 2 min. to complete
the upload and I was done. So simple.

I've talked about how good it makes the other person feel to receive a card in the mail, but I haven't mentioned how good it will make you feel. It can and will make you feel just as good about yourself as it makes the other person feel special.

With that said, think about the power of cards. They can build your business relationships to another level as well strengthen your closest relationships. Photographers, dentists, doctors, restaurants, chiropractors, salons, schools, churches, accountants and so many more people use it for mass mailing services.
Reminder cards for doctors and dentists. You can create the same card then select group and it will be mailed to everyone in that group with just one click. How much time and money does that save the business professionals.

The wonderful website I'm referring to is 80% owned by Hallmark and American Greetings. Its so simple to use and quick. Go to www.sendoutcards.com/59019 to see more features this website offers. You can opt to just use the services or you can
become a distributor. I just love it and think anyone who takes the time to see the simplicity of this website will be amazed.

So please, start building better relationships today. You will not regret it.

Good luck in life and don't grow old alone.
